I am a qualified primary phase teacher and headteacher with over 20 years experience. During this time I have led an outstanding school and achieved both World Class Schools Status and TES English Team of the year in 2018. I am using my experience to tutor students online and face to face using a very engaging and tailored system called ‘My Own Tutor’. This allows me to track progress and attainment, plan specific next steps for learning and share this with families to show the impact that it is having. It also allows students to continue learning beyond the tutor sessions and optimise progress for all students in maths and English. I am also currently working as a school’s inspector, where I get to observe modern teaching methods and research which in turn I utilise in my own teaching methodology and ensure that learning is a very positive one for all concerned.
