I have many years of experience in supporting learners from young children to the more mature. I began my career in junior schools in Wales teaching the whole range of primary subjects. I then worked as an advisory teacher providing Welsh second language support and resources to other teachers. For ten years I worked as Channel 4`s Education Officer for Wales, advising producers of educational TV programmes. When I was made redundant from that post I worked as a freelance education consultant and I authored several educational resource packs. Also during that time I lived in France for four years, where I taught English to adults for the Chambre de Commerce. Since returning to Wales I have worked for a dyslexia charity (from 2011 -15) and I have taught as a supply teacher and as a private tutor. My specialist areas are: Literacy support (especially dyslexia), English to GCSE level, English as a second language and Welsh second language.
